When you create an account, we collect your name, email address (or Apple ID credentials via Sign in with Apple), and a profile photo if you choose to provide one.

When you use the app, we collect trading activity (markets traded, positions taken, outcomes), onboarding preferences such as the reasons you want to improve and your monthly budget, and challenge history with other users.

We collect anonymized device and usage data to improve app performance and diagnose crashes. This data does not identify you personally.

To operate the Bettr app — authenticate you, display your portfolio, run challenges, and show relevant markets.

To personalize your experience based on your stated preferences and trading history.

To aggregate anonymized statistics that help us understand what features are useful and where we can improve.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising networks.

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on infrastructure compliant with industry security standards.

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Passwords are never stored; authentication is handled by Supabase Auth and Apple Sign-In.

Row-level security policies ensure that your data is accessible only to you and the Bettr service.

Bettr integrates with Kalshi to display live prediction market data. Kalshi's own privacy policy governs any data you share directly with Kalshi.

If you choose to subscribe to Bettr Pro, purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data.

We may use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscription entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your personal trading data.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us through the support page.

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

If you are a resident of California or the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR respectively. Please contact us to exercise these rights.

Bettr is not directed at children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 17 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date below and notify you in the app if the changes are material.
